Global Refund, Return, and Chargeback Policy

As a rigid, binding policy, all sales regarding direct digital distributions, algorithmic usage credits, or prioritized subscription tiers are considered final, fully executed, and categorically non-refundable the moment the cryptographic checkout process concludes and the digital good is computationally allocated to the user’s account.

Except in instances strictly mandated by immutable statutory law (such as the narrow execution of the European Union’s 14-day Consumer Rights Directive strictly pertaining to untested, un-executed digital goods), Aorthea Health Inc. systematically denies all requests for automatic refunds relating to digital products. Because intellectual property and digital allocations are instantly consumed and unrecoverable, prospective users are vehemently directed to utilize our openly available Free Tiers and sandbox trial periods to rigorously validate use-cases prior to executing any paid commercial service tier.

2. Subscription Lifecycle and Proactive Cancellation Transparency

In strict, verified compliance with Stripe, Apple, and Google global transparency benchmarks and California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL) mandates spanning 2026, every user inherently possesses the continuous, frictionless right to sever and cancel their active billing subscriptions unilaterally, instantly, and without human mitigation.

Explicit Cancellation Methodology: You retain the sole responsibility to actively manage your subscription. Cancellations may be executed directly inside the core application utilizing the pathway: Aorthea Health Dashboard > Settings > Billing > Terminate Subscription. Alternatively, users may utilize the secure, direct-to-processor billing portal (Stripe/Lemon Squeezy/Apple/Google) hyperlinked within every automated payment ledger receipt dispatched to the primary account email upon cycle renewal.

Cancellations must be computationally registered into our database schemas prior to the microsecond of the next billing cycle initiation date to successfully prevent subsequent financial charges. Let it be explicitly documented that the act of cancellation does not trigger, nor imply, a retroactive prorated refund for previously consumed billing cycles. It solely acts to halt future algorithmic rebilling. The account retains full tier-level provisioning until the natural expiration of the current paid epoch.

3. Auditing Substantive Platform Errors

In highly restrictive scenarios where a user suspects they have been erroneously charged strictly due to an authenticated technical fault, duplication error, or synchronized failure localized entirely within the Aorthea Health infrastructure, the user must instigate an internal audit. By contacting care@aorthea.io within thirty (30) days of the contested ledger charge, our billing forensic team will actively investigate the Stripe/Lemon Squeezy/Apple/Google API telemetries. Upon incontrovertible confirmation of an internal algorithmic disruption resulting in unprovoked billing, Aorthea Health Inc. will gladly execute a manual, full reversal of the erroneous transaction.

4. Fraudulent Chargebacks & Unilateral Account Extermination

Aorthea Health Inc. prosecutes aggressive legal and infrastructural defense against "friendly fraud" and illegitimate bank-initiated chargebacks. If a user maliciously circumvents our refund policy by executing a chargeback, payment dispute, or forced reversal through their credit institution or banking provider without first attempting resolution via the channels provided in Section 3, Aorthea Health Inc. immediately reserves the right to:

• Instantly freeze and decisively terminate the associated user account and block the underlying IP ASN ranges.
• Submit exhaustive forensic data (IP trails, usage logs, active session tokens, and checkout agreements) directly to the financial institution to aggressively contest, and legally reverse, the initiated chargeback.
• Permanently blacklist the associated email schema and hashing footprint across the entire Aorthea Health ecosystem.

5. Lemon Squeezy / Reseller Jurisdiction

For any granular purchases where Lemon Squeezy (or an equivalent audited reseller entity) operates actively as the Merchant of Record, partial or full refund requests, tax discrepancies, or economic disputes may fall back exclusively to their global buyer protection standards and specific internal resolutions. Such refund arbitrations must be aggressively routed and resolved entirely through the discrete Lemon Squeezy buyer dispute dashboard frameworks.
